コンサートは素晴らしかったです。
観客も素敵でした。
Our seats were very close to the stage.
The concert was terrific.
The audience was awesome, too.

12月ずっと寒くて、雪模様です。
リスが裏庭にやって来て、
鳥の餌箱に登って、
鳥の餌を食べようとしていました。

It has been so cold and snowy in December.
A squirrel came to our backyard,
climbed up a bird feeder,
and tried to eat bird food.
12月ずっと寒くて、雪模様です。
リスが裏庭にやって来て、
鳥の餌箱に登って、
鳥の餌を食べようとしていました。
Can you see the icicles?
It has been so cold and snowy in December.
A squirrel came to our backyard,

and tried to eat bird food.
かいけお誕生パーティーに招待される。
チャックル（ピエロ）が
マジックを見せてくれ、
子供達の顔にペイントし、
風船を作ってくれました。
楽しかったようです。
Kaike was invited to the birthday party.
Chuckle the clown
showed magic tricks,
painted children's faces,
and made balloons.
They had a good time.
サンタクロースさんが
お手紙とご本を送ってくれました。
Mr. Santa Claus sent
Kaike a letter and a book.

年末の伝統行事ーーくるみ割り人形
このバレエを見に行ってきました。
パンフレットによると、くるみ割り人形がアメリカに渡って来たのは1944年です。
（初演は1892年のロシアです。）
音楽はオーケストラの生演奏でした。
とっても素晴らしくって、うっとりでした。
かいけはとっても感激してたみたいです。でも、彼女の言うことには、
「私には出来ない。」・・・現実的ですこと。
A holiday tradition-- The Nutcracker
We went to see this ballet.
The brochure says that The Nutcracker was introduced into the US in 1944.
(The first performance was in 1892 in Russia.)
The music was played live by the orchestra.
It was so magnificent and fantastic.
Kaike was impressed with the ballet, but she said
"I can not do this.".....she is a realist.

教会、学校等が無料で一般開放されました。
我々はヘルスミュージアムと教会に行きました。
ヘルスミュージアムではかいけとお友達は
人体についてお勉強し、
車椅子体験をしました。
教会ではアカペラコーラスと
パイプオルガンを聴きました。
